Here is my realisation from this year’s Uni Training.
Two negative visions
My impression after a week of visions in the university training, particularly after seeing two negative visions (the vision of the self and the vision of the world) is that universe we live in is utterly corrupt. Now I see that everything is corrupted. The world outside of us is completely corrupted – for it is simply a satanic system.
But Satan is not only outside of us, he is also inside of us. Due to the fall, our body was corrupted to become the flesh and our soul was corrupted to become the self. The flesh is the corrupted body, and the self is the corrupted soul. It seems like there is no where to go, nowhere to hide, for both outside of us and inside us Satan dwells. My realisation therefore is that our only hope to live in and by our mingled spirit – and for each of us to be headed up by Christ.
The heap of collapse
Life-study of Ephesians, message 8, describes that due to the two rebellions, the angelic rebellion and the human rebellion, the whole universe is in a state of collapse. In God’s eyes there is no order on earth; instead, there is a heap caused by the collapse.
God’s eternal intention however is to head up all things in Christ, who has been appointed to be the universal Head. Because of the angelic rebellion and the human rebellion, none of the created beings are under any head. This is simply no headship in the universe. But Ephesians 1:10 says that all things are to be headed up in Christ.
Ephesians 1:10 “Unto the economy of the fulness of the times, to head up all things in Christ, the things in the heavens and the things on the earth, in Him.”
The heading up of all things “through the church”
God’s purpose for the church is to head up all things in Christ through the church (Eph. 1:10). I particularly appreciate the three words – “through the church”.
It is the church who must takes the lead to be headed up, and then the whole universe will follow. The first step is for God to bring His chosen ones, His sons, out of the collapse and to place them under the headship of Christ. One by one, He rescues His people from the heap caused by the collapse.
God has brought us out of the universal collapse and has placed us under the unique Head, Christ. Here, under the headship of Christ, we are outside of the heap of universal collapse and we are over all things. God is heading up all His chosen ones to be the Body of Christ with Christ as the Head. Eventually, this Body with Christ as the Head will be the universal Head over all things. Today we in the church must take the lead to be headed up in Christ.
