Praise the Lord for there is a top on the mountain!
I really enjoyed the time in Małe Ciche at the 2013 European Young People’s Conference in Poland. But I specifically got touched by one verse:
2 Corinthians 3:18: But we all with unveiled face, beholding and reflecting like a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord Spirit.
Whatever we eat, we become. And whatever we become, we reflect unto others, to the people around us. When we get nourished by whatever the world can supply us with and eat on the flesh, that’s what we show to our friends. That would not carry out the Lord’s intention, which is it is to make us just the same as He. So the reason we should eat of Him is so that we can express Him unto others (our friends at school, our colleagues at work etc.).
How do we eat the Lord though? It is very easy. We just have to turn our being completely to Him. We should just turn to His word. By doing so, we get infused by Him. We have to open our heart towards Him and just let Him write on it. That’s how we can eat the all-inclusive Christ, who will then flow out from us and shine forth to those around us.
I’m very thankful and grateful that we have the privilege of eating the Lord day by day!
