At the beginning of the conference the brothers were saying that the Poland conference is not something that changes your life – it’s your day-by-day experience. I went to the Poland conference thinking how am I going to do this and that, but it’s so comforting that we do not need to do anything for the Lord Jesus – we just need to enjoy Him and reflect Him.
I enjoyed singing the hymn – Take Time to Behold Him! and I really enjoyed what another sister said, that we only need to behold Him to reflect Him. Oh behold Him! Enjoy Him! And reflect Him!
A lot of times we have veils between us and God, and we could not go to God and even when we go to God we have failures we cannot see. But God really wants us to go to Him; He wants to remove our veils, and He just wants us to be face to face with Him.
God gave us the ten commandments not to follow them — it’s impossible for us to follow them all because we have sin (due to Adam’s fall). So I was really touched by the one point that if we think we can do good and keep all the commandments, this is offensive to God. We do not need to try harder or do our best to be good persons but just take time to behold Him.
“Take time to behold Him, calm all thine thoughts, each thought and temper.” I really enjoyed this. God is the One who can do this.
