Here is what I enjoyed from the 2017 college training:
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. (Matt. 5:4)
I was touched to see that this verse doesn’t just mean that we will be comforted when we are sad, but that when we mourn the evils of this age, we will be comforted in knowing that the kingdom will come.
We are living today in a fornicatious and godless age, and we need to realize that many things that we have seen and heard are products of this evil age. We need to be those who mourn over this age and not take part of it, because you cannot be a part of the age that you are turning.
Today’s age is like a garlic room; after being in this room for a while, it is easy to be desensitized to the smell of garlic.
But we need to be overcomers who turn away from and swim against the current of this age, who are vessels of honor fully for God’s move and God’s purpose.
