See the vision, Count the cost, Pay the price, Live a life of no regrets

This month’s University gathering helped me to see that there are two types of consecration. From the previous article we can see that we want to have an Upper Room consecration in order for the Lord to move on this earth, rather than a general consecration. Even though this may seem like an individual matter, it is actually something corporate. Just like Eve is a type of the Church, something corporate to fulfil God’s heart’s desire. Eve was not created but was built out of Adam.

I enjoyed recently that Christ wants us to enjoy Him as the topstone! We always enjoy Christ as the Redeeming Lamb, but how much should we be enjoying Christ as the building stone (Zech 4:7). Here we see that redemption issues in building. The Lord needs His people to have an Upper Room Consecration in order for the accomplishing of His building. Consecration does not mean that we agree to do something for God but that we agree to allow God to do something for us.

Our eyes need to be open to see the heavenly vision, but our heart must be warm toward the Lord. That’s why in the morning we were encouraged as young people to be romantic towards the Lord. Play guitar, play piano, sing to Him, that’s what the Bible says (Psalm 100, Eph 5:17-19), singing with your heart, with our heart, He is worthy to receive all of our heart.

By the Lord’s mercy we would see the vision, count the cost, pay the price, live a life of no regrets. We should pray “Lord, through Your mercy, make me the one who is in the upper room, make me one of Your overcomers! I need Your mercy and Your grace.”

  1. what a good motto for our human life, "See the Vision! Count the Cost! Pay the Price! Live a life of No Regrets!" Lord, by Your mercy, cause us to be the Nazarites of today who live such a life! Cause us to see a fresh vision of Your move, what You are doing today! May we not look at the price but willingly pay the price to be Your overcomers!

    • Here is a song, based on the note above; hope we can sing it to one another!

Lord, by Your mercy, cause us—
      To be the Nazarites of–
Today, who live such a life!
Cause us to see a fresh vision of–
Your move, what You're doing today!

      2) What a good motto for our human life,
"See the Vision! O Count the Cost!"
"Pay the Price! Live a life of No Regrets!"
Lord, by Your mercy, cause us—
      The Nazarites of Today,
May we not look at the price–
But willingly pay the price to be–
      Be Your overcomers, Lord!

  3. When we meet with Jesus, our Jehovah, He tells the enemy, "Let my people GO!" Go to our jobs, our neighborhoods, our neighbors, our friends, all the 'fish' that pass by us daily. But before going, PRAY! Consider the example of Moshe and the people of Israel when they fought the Amalekites (the flesh). It was the PRAYER of Moshe coupled with the rod of God's authority which won the battle. Consider the Lord's Word in Matthew 28:19, "All authority is given to Me in heaven and on earth. You should all GO and disciple the nations, and I will be with you until the end of the age!"
