It is really Lord’s mercy and grace that brought me to this conference and caused me to listen to His speaking. Every single message was just so rich. I really enjoyed Revelation 3:7,
And to the messenger of the church in Philadelphia write: These things says the Holy One, the true One, the One who has the key of David, the One who opens and no one will shut, and shuts and no one opens…
The Lord has given the recovered church an opened door which no one can shut. The more the organized Christianity tries to shut the door, the wider it is opened. I am really amazed by the Lord’s sovereignty. In the World War 2, the Lord allowed the Nazi to kill almost all the Jews in Europe – but it was actually then that the Lord’s people spread all over the inhabited earth!
Thank You Lord for Your promising word that the more enemy tries to persecute the church, the more the church multiplies because the church is a church of recovery and no one can shut the door! So, we need to stay in the church and practise the church life together with saints around us because it is a place where no one can shut.
Secondly, I enjoyed from Gal. 2:20 that I am crucified with Christ and it is no longer I… but Christ. This verse implies 4 steps to experience the overcoming life. First, we need to realize that we are not able. Before this conference I was so full of myself, thinking that God needs me to fulfill His goal. But no, we are entirely hopeless and God has given up hope in us. That is why He wants us to be crucified with Christ, because He does not want any human element to carry out His works but the Christ inside us.
Second, we need to give up. For me, “give up” was such a negative word but yeap, we really need to give up trying to make ourselves a better Christian. 2 Chronicles 20:15,
And he said, Listen…… Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours but God’s!
Yes, we might struggle with our exams, friends or anything, but what we need to do is just give up. God wants us to step aside so that He can fight the battle for us. How sweet it is! And we need to praise as well as believe that we are not able.
Last but not least, Rom. 8:37 says, “but in all these things we more than conquer through Him who loved us.” I really enjoyed that we not only have an overcoming life in our spirit but it is a “super overcoming life” in us! What a wonderful Spirit we have.
The Bible tells us that Lord wishes to gain a group of overcomers who realize that they have this super overcoming life in us to carry His economy on the earth. So, why not just let us give up whatever we are and let Him this super overcoming life to deal with our living and carry out His will. Hallelujah for His life inside us!
