As far as I’m concerned that was one of the best Winter School of Truth ever. It was the first time that we had no tests but the atmosphere was as always really enjoyable and sweet.
I was touched by one of the messages where we heard that in the past there were no positions or classes in the churches. Nowadays there are priests, bishops and a pope. They want people to call them “mediators between God and man”. That’s a one big lie. We need to pray and confess our sins to the Lord directly! Only God has the power to forgive us. No one else. We don’t need anyone to help us to contact with the Lord.
I also really enjoyed a verse which says that Christ is there when at least two believers have a meeting. It means that even only two people can have a fellowship.
Matthew 18:20 “For where there two or three gathered into My name, there I am in their midst.”
Amen! Just two of us can build the church because the church is not a physical building. It is the people, the saints, who are the church! We need to turn our friendships into fellowships!
God never misses the meetings. He’s always there when we want to pray or call upon His name. We can’t miss our meetings either. Fellowship should be for us just like water is for fish or air is for the birds. Without water and air they can’t live in a proper way – without them the fish and birds are going to die.
The Spirit inside us is slowly “disappearing” without proper fellowship. We can’t let that happen. That’s why we need to rise up and go to the meetings! Our spirit needs to be on fire by our singing and sharing.
