I personally believe that training is a very important element part and an essential part of our Christian life. Thank You, Lord, that now we have the Monthly University Student Training in London (MUST)!
I had the chance to attend one of them this year. From my experience, training is the best opportunity to be equipped with the truth, to grow in life, and to be constituted with the living Word in order to represent the Lord Jesus and to bring Him back. We must be those who usher in the next age – and for this we need to be trained. Even in our daily life, we cannot successfully learn the skills without practicing on the job. It is the same in our Christian life – if we are not willing to be trained and practice our skills we will delay the Lord’s second coming.
I really enjoyed 1 Corinthians 15:58 which it charges us to be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that our labor is not in vain in the Lord. I believe many of us are qualified to take action, to work for the Lord. Thus far, we have stressed that we need the proper preparation. We need to repent, confess, and have an intimate fellowship with the Lord and with our companions. As long as we have entered into these things, we are qualified and ready to take action. Our entering into these things is a matter of degree. In this age and in this flesh, we can never be perfect in anything. But we have to learn that after we seek the Lord for some time by contacting Him, repenting to Him, confessing our shortcomings, and abiding in the fellowship with Him, we are ready to take action. And the training is a great opportunity for the Lord to work on our person, to train our character to uphold the truth and be useful vessels for the Lord’s move on the earth!
In conclusion, I would like to encourage all the students to register and attend this monthly university student training (the deadline is this Lord’s Day night, the 6th of May 2012). Dear brothers and sisters, may we be those who come to the full knowledge of the truth, those who are constituted with the riches of the ministry to be a living testimony of the Lord today (2 Tim 2:22)!
