I thank the Lord for giving me the opportunity to join the University conference and fellowship with the saints. I had the joy of meeting so many saints from different localities whom I had never seen before. It was truly enjoyable, and meeting all the saints was the highlight of the conference for me.
In the message, I really enjoyed one verse from Ephesians 1:4, which says, “Even as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world to be holy and without blemish before Him in love.” According to this verse, He chose us to be holy even before the foundation of the world. This means that even before sin existed, He chose us to be holy.
Sometimes, I used to think holiness was merely sinless perfection or purity. But in reality, to be holy is to be separated unto God and saturated with Him—the Holy One, the One who is distinct and different from all that is common.
He makes us holy by imparting Himself into our being, so that our whole being may be permeated and saturated with His holy nature.
For us, God’s chosen ones, to be holy is to partake of His divine nature and have our whole being filled with God Himself. The key to this is our heart. We need to be willing to turn our heart to Him and remain open, so that He can grow and spread within us, making us the same as He is in life and in nature.
