The will of God is indeed good. Thank the Lord! In this conference, what I enjoyed the most was knowing the basic structure of man, how the elements of man work and in what way we can get everything right before God and men.
The actions taken to come to the conference were already a challenge. Before the conference, I was bombarded by the requirement of assignments, which even announced its threat during the reading week. Thus, this reading week meant nothing more than not going to university physically.
I heard that many of the brothers were also fighting with the assignments before they arrived at the conference. I was encouraged by our unified deeds that we did together in order to enjoy the Lord.
One of the brothers sharing in message 3 really touched my heart. We human beings consist of three parts, two of them – the soul and spirit are associated with the heart of man. It starts with the spirit, which is formed by conscience, and designated by God to have fellowship with the Holy Spirit (John 4:24); then is the soul, which consists of mind, will and emotion that affects the behaviour of the body.
I think we all need to confess that our soul always drift away even when we are supposed to worship the Lord with all our heart (Matthew 22:37). Our mind is always attacked by Satan with distracting thoughts, then our emotion and will would be influenced by the thoughts of our mind to do things without the Lord’s guidance.
It is essential to us that we are not just to deal with our conscience by confessing of sin and make it right before God, but we also need to align our heart fully with the Lord’s Spirit. Our mind, emotion and will are to be filled with love toward God and to worship Him.
Oh Lord, thank You for loving us and taking care of us by giving Yourself to us. We want to love You with all our heart, and be sanctified for You to be used by You!
